The International Builders’ Show (IBS) 2026 will be held from February 17-19, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, at the Orange County Convention Center.

2. When should I start planning for IBS Orlando?

You should start planning for IBS 2026 at least 6-9 months in advance, ideally even up to a year out. This allows time for budgeting, setting goals, booth design, marketing, and logistics.

3. What’s the process to register for IBS Orlando?

Registration for IBS 2026 typically opens in early September 2025. You will be able to register online. If you are an international attendee and require a visa letter of invitation, you must first register for the show.

4. What documents or info do I need to prepare?

For exhibiting, a completed Application/Contract for Exhibit Space, booth selections, and required payment. You’ll also need to consider your booth design plans and marketing materials.

5. When can I move in and set up my booth?

Specific exhibitor move-in and target plans for IBS 2026 will be posted in September 2025 on the official IBS website. These plans will outline targeted move-in dates based on booth location and size.

6. What are the booth design regulations at IBS Orlando?

Key regulations include:

  • Height restrictions:
    • Standard/Linear booths: Maximum 8 feet high for the back wall, and up to 4 feet high for the side walls.
    • Perimeter Wall booths: Maximum 12 feet high.
    • Peninsula booths: Maximum 12 feet high.
    • Island booths (400 sq. ft. or greater): More flexibility, including the ability to hang signs from the ceiling (with specific height and offset requirements).
  • Finished appearance: Any portion of a back wall exceeding 8 feet or a side wall exceeding 3 feet must have a finished appearance on both sides. No company name, logo, or advertising is permitted on the backside of walls facing neighboring booths.
  • Floor covering: Required in all exhibits.
  • Sound and lighting: Must be kept within the booth confines and at a conversational level (not exceeding 80dB). Spinning, rotating, or pulsating lights should not interfere with neighbors.
  • Aisles: No exhibit materials or equipment are permitted in aisles without express written permission.
7. How do I design a booth that stands out at IBS Orlando?

To make your booth stand out:

  • Strategic Design: Work with a professional exhibit designer to create a custom display that aligns with your brand and objectives. Consider incorporating interactive elements, product demonstrations, and unique visual aspects.
  • Engagement: Plan activities, contests, or entertainment to draw visitors in.
  • Staffing: Have well-trained, engaging staff who can effectively communicate your message and qualify leads.
  • Pre-show Marketing: Promote your attendance on social media, email lists, and other channels. Announce any special events or presentations at your booth.
  • Clear Messaging: Ensure your key message is easily understood and visible from the aisle.
  • Lighting: Utilize appropriate lighting to highlight products and create an inviting atmosphere, ensuring it doesn’t spill into neighboring booths.
8. What booth sizes are most effective at IBS Orlando ?

While 10×10 and 10×20 booths are common, larger booths such as 20×30, 20×40, and even 20×50 are often used by exhibitors at major shows like IBS to create more elaborate displays, product demonstrations, and interaction areas. The “most effective” size depends on your goals, budget, and the products/services you are showcasing. Larger booths generally offer more flexibility for creative designs and attracting higher foot traffic.

9. Can you help with custom booth design for IBS Orlando?
Yes. Our in-house team handles creative concepts, technical drawings, and final 3D renders. We align the design with your product, target audience, and IBS guidelines. Every detail—from materials to lighting—is tailored to deliver impact.
10. How long does booth construction take?
Custom booth production usually takes 1–2 weeks, plus time for design approval. We recommend starting early to allow time for revisions, permits, and logistics.
11. What materials are best for building a IBS Orlando booth?
We use aluminum systems, tension fabric, laminated wood, acrylics, and LED panels. These are light, strong, and fire-rated. They also allow quick setup and clean finishes. All materials follow venue safety codes.
12. Can you handle installation and dismantling?
Yes. We manage all labor orders and scheduling. Our union-certified team sets up everything—from structure to lighting—on-site and on time. After the event, we dismantle and pack up efficiently. You don’t lift a finger.
13. How can I make my booth more engaging?
Use motion or interaction to draw attention. Try:
  • LED video displays
  • Touchscreen demos
  • Product tryouts or VR
  • Branded giveaways
  • Open lounge-style layouts
We help integrate engagement without overloading the space.
14. Do you offer booth storage after IBS Orlando?
Yes. We store booths in our Las Vegas warehouse. After the show, we inspect, repack, and store your structure and graphics safely. This saves cost on rebuilds and keeps your assets ready for the next event.
15. Can I reuse my IBS Orlando booth?
Definitely. We build modular structures that can be adapted and reused at other shows. You can change graphics, resize elements, or upgrade tech without starting from scratch.
16. What’s the difference between rental and custom booths?
Custom booths are designed from scratch and offer full creative freedom. Rentals are quicker and budget-friendly—ideal for first-time or limited-budget exhibitors. We offer both, and help you choose based on your needs.
17. What should I bring to the show?
Bring:
  • Brochures or flyers
  • Business cards
  • Chargers, cables, adapters
  • Lead scanners or forms
  • Branded items (giveaways)
We give you a full checklist so nothing is missed.
18. How many staff do I need in the booth?
We recommend 2–3 people per shift. One person greets, one presents, one captures leads. Rotate regularly to avoid fatigue. We design booths to support team movement and comfortable conversations.
19. How should I follow up after the show?
Follow up fast—within 3–5 days. Thank visitors, attach brochures, and mention your booth. We help set up digital lead capture so you can export and contact everyone smoothly.
20. I'm new to IBS Orlando . Can someone help guide me?
Yes. You’ll get a dedicated project manager who supports you before, during, and after the show. We handle design, build, transport, union rules, and emergencies—so you can focus on your business.
